DIOCESE OF CHINHOYI
The diocese of Chinhoyi was raised to the Status of a diocese on the 5th January 1986. The diocese comprises of the civil districts of Makonde, Hurugwe, Kariba, Guruve, Centenary, Mount Darwin and Rushinga. It covers the area of 56, 000 square kilometers and has a population of 2 000 000 people.
The diocese of Chinhoyi is involved in Educational activities with registered 2 pre-schools, 4 primary schools, 4 secondary schools and one tertiary.
